How often and in what way are loved ones and friends being contacted? 

Once a week an email summary will be sent from Full Circle Home Care Inc. to the appropriate family members. Additional real-time notifications and alerts can be set up and customized as required. You can specify your preferred communication method–anything from calls, texts, and/ or emails, etc. Depending on your concerns we will set up automatic alerts. All communications are customizable for you and your family members’ specific needs.

 

Examples:

If you are worried about your loved one leaving the house late at night you could set an alert if the door opens after 10 pm.

 

You can set up an alert that sends you an email when your loved one forgets to take their medicine.

 

How do I set up SENIOR CONNECT™? 

You don’t need to worry about a thing! Upon deciding on your Full Circle Home Care plan, an expert will come in and assess the home. Our experts will customize SENIOR CONNECT™ based upon your concerns, condition and requirements.

Do I need to purchase the equipment?

No purchase of expense equipment is required.  The equipment is rented to you on a month-to-month basis with no long term contract.  Upon 30 days written notice, the equipment can be returned with no further costs to you.

How much does this service cost? 

The service is completely customizable and the price is relative to the package you require. The base cost of the complete touchscreen tablet and all of the related connectivity costs only $5.00 per day.

There is a one-time set-up fee for the install customized programming, training and software licensing fee.

Do I need internet service at the location of install? 

Yes.  The only thing you require is to have wireless internet available at the location of install.

No internet, No problem.  We can install as part of the service wireless internet.

Does insurance cover this? 

Our system provides you with a care navigator, a nurse, and SENIOR CONNECT™. These three important aspects provide a more complete support plan than you would find in other programs. Unfortunately, this is not covered by insurance at this time.

Is the SENIOR CONNECT™ service customizable? 

Yes, the service is completely customizable and individualized to the client’s concerns and requirements. A Full Circle Home Care expert will work closely with you and your family members to assess current conditions (health and living) to help you decide on a comprehensive support plan.

Who has access to my medical information? 

The Ontario Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA) regulations require that the client have ultimate say in who has access to their medical records. There are different degrees of access that can be granted to family members and friends.

What if I know I need full in-home care for my parent? 

Full Circle Home Care will work with your local Community Care Access Centres (CCACs) or other support representatives. Our support plans are completely customizable based on the needs of your loved one, so from minimal to moderate assistance we are able to provide a complete support plan for your loved one.

Is my parent really ready for this? 

Full Circle Home Care has the perfect balance between support and independence. We allow your loved one to live at home longer independently. Our support plans are customized based on the needs of your loved one making it perfect for people needing all different levels of assistance.

Does this replace my physician? 

No, SENIOR CONNECT™ is an additional layer of support and monitoring of your health. We work with your physician to ensure the best support plan is in place. Your physician remains in control of your medical health.
